AROUSAL – ERECTION – MASTURBATION –
WET DREAMS – ORGASM = ALL ARE NORMAL
For the first time strong sexual feelings begin in the boy.
KNOWLEDGE ALONE IS THE MEDICINE FOR WIDELY PREVALENT
MISCONCEPTION ABOUT MASTURBATION AND WET DREAMS.
Erections occur on slightest arousal and can be embarrassing for the boy.
Boys often start masturbating around this time, as they explore new sexual experiences. If they don’t masturbate they may still experience ejaculation during their sleep called as ‘wet dream’ or ‘nightfall’ or ‘swapna dosh’ or ‘nocturnal discharge’ or ‘night dreams’. This is a normal phenomenon. Most boys have orgasms during masturbation before they have had any sexual intercourse.
Why does night fall occur? What to do about it?
Puberty begins between 8 – 13 years in girls and 9 – 13 years in boys. [2 years late in developing countries.]
When a boy matures to become an adult nature makes him capable of reproduction.
The testicles start manufacturing sperms. Mixed with seminal fluid from the seminal vesicles semen is formed. Semen is meant to be discharged out of the body the way urine or stools are meant to be discharged.
There are only three ways in which semen can come out. Through sexual intercourse, through masturbation or through wet dreams [nightfall/swapna dosh]. Whether you like it or not semen is going to be discharged. Masturbation is the safest and most pleasant way for relief of pent up sexual feelings at all ages. It has health benefits, too. It is to be remembered beyond all doubts that in no way is masturbation or nightfall/wet dreams harmful. It is a natures mechanism of releasing semen, which is being produced incessantly. Even if the person becomes 70 years of age (till he dies) semen production continues and he is capable of producing children. Semen does not contain energy rich material. The idea that semen should be treasured or used sparingly is ridiculous and has no spiritual/religious (scriptural) or medical basis. Masturbation is bad practice, loss of semen is harmful are the most common highly prevalent misconceptions existing in people today. This misconception causes mental distress and harm to individual, which a parent is not aware of because sexual matters are kept private. They are discussed by friends who themselves carry the myth and hence make matters worse. This situation is exploited by quacks who further frighten them by telling how seriously damaging it is and offer expensive medicines (sometimes toxic)to stop masturbation or nightfall.
The best well wishers of a boy are his parents who are not aware of this silent suffering. Hence allowing to read websites as this one, or taking a print out and giving it to your son is the best gift that a parent can give to the child.
